Touratech Aventuro Carbon PRO Helmet

Touratech Aventuro Carbon PRO helmet

Touratech entered the helmet segment more than a decade ago with the Aventuro Carbon, which was focused on providing adventure motorcyclists with a lighter alternative to the helmets available at that time. The company is now releasing the third generation of this revolutionary product with the Aventuro Carbon PRO. This helmet sets new standards for cooling airflow, glove-friendly vent controls and an improved liner system — all while continuing to be a rider favorite, thanks to its lightweight feel and low-drag aerodynamics, which reduce neck strain and improve rider comfort.

The Carbon PRO has been completely re-designed from the ground up. The Peak mounting has been changed to sturdy threaded fasteners for improved reliability, and the shape has been streamlined to reduce drag for enhanced rider comfort. The new peak also mounts higher on the helmet, which makes it easier to remove the shield for installing a pin-lock system or upgrading to a tinted shield.

The airflow has been maximized with eight intake vents, four exhaust vents and upgraded distribution channels in the EPS liner for best-in-class cooling airflow.

Further changes have been made to improve the field of vision and to better accommodate glasses. The helmet liner has also been upgraded to a better material and an innovative new system for locking in the cheek pads to prevent them from coming loose inadvertently.

DUSC Luggage System from SW-MOTECH

DUSC luggage

The waterproof DUSC hard-shell case system aims to offer an extremely versatile solution for riders looking to do everything from city commuting to adventure touring.

The DUSC case combines a scratch-resistant, 3-millimeter-thick thermoformed and structured ABS plastic shell with a sturdy aluminum perimeter frame. When taking an impact, forces are initially absorbed by the reinforced plastic corners and then transferred to the aluminum frame via the 3-D shape of the ABS panels. The ABS material is designed to rebound to its original shape after impact and deformation. This creates a lightweight and extremely tough case.

The DUSC case can be used interchangeably as a top case or as a side case. The DUSC case easily attaches to the motorcycle by placing it on two retaining points and then fixing it to the carrier via the locking lug. With the separately available lock system made of fiberglass-reinforced plastic, the case lid and the connection to the carrier can be locked simultaneously.

Even with locks installed, an unlocked DUSC case can be opened and closed without a key — a practical option for motorcycle luggage. Locked or unlocked, the DUSC attachment system has held up in extensive testing to be reliable enough to withstand extended touring — on or off the pavement.

REV’IT! Lamina GTX Ladies Jacket and Pants

REV’IT!’s women’s GORE-TEX outfit, the Lamina GTX Ladies, paves the way for all-season adventure travel excursions whether on and off the beaten path.

Made with a completely new approach to REV’IT!’s design and development process, the Lamina GTX Ladies jacket and pants provide an unrivaled female-specific cut and fit. By uniquely designing both the jacket and pants in 3-D — directly on a bust — instead of the conventional two dimensions, REV’IT! has been able to achieve fit-focused riding comfort that raises the bar on women’s adventure travel outfits. REV’IT! calls this approach design by dialogue.

On top of the kind of comfort that will see riders breeze through long days on the bike, Lamina GTX Ladies outfit is above all engineered to take on multiple seasons in one day, all thanks to its 100% waterproof construction of lightweight and laminated GORE-TEX fabrics and premium waterproof zipper technology from industry leaders TIZIP. This is offset by clever and effective ventilation integrated into the progressive, outdoor scene-inspired outer shell design to offer a fine balance in terms of functional tech and high-end aesthetic appeal.

Assuring design, performance and innovation are all accounted for, the Lamina GTX Ladies outfit — both jacket and pants — offers top-tier protection with a CE Class AA safety rating. REV’IT!’s proprietary CE-level 2 SEESOFT AIR back protector; CE-level 2 SEEFLEX armor at shoulders, elbows and knees; and CE-Level 1 SEESMART at the hips are included as standard to ensure wearers ride with safety and confidence and in style, wherever adventure may take riders.

R&G Lockstop Savers

new-r&g-lockstops

R&G has expanded its range of Lockstop Savers to cover a wide range of the latest machines on the market. These additions are designed to stop the lockstop from breaking during a crash or fall, protecting the frame and fuel tank.

Motorcycle crashes or heavy falls can be highly damaging to a bike, with extreme forces potentially breaking the lockstops on the yoke. This can cause clip-ons and handlebars to move further back than normal, leading to additional damage to the frame and fuel tank.

The R&G Lockstop Savers are designed to prevent this from happening, providing a layer of protection to one of the most vulnerable parts of the bike. They are quick and easy to install, making them essential for any track day.

In addition to a range of model-specific Lockstop Savers, R&G has also created universal fitments to ensure almost every motorcyclist can protect their bike.
