Contrary to popular belief, the sales process doesn’t begin inside the dealership. It begins when a customer shows interest in your products.

Some consumers might spend hours researching the product in question before gracing your dealership with an in-person visit. For others, it’s an impulse — a sudden view of a vehicle or the store itself from the road that prompts a desire to learn more. Once they’re in the door and you’ve greeted them, you’ve just cleared the highest hurdle of the sales process.

But instead of relying on chance to snag a customer, what you need is a certified hook — something unique and eye-catching that is bound to attract attention, even from those who might not otherwise have an interest in your store. But what is that attention-grabber?

Dawn of the Trike

Let’s face it: The motorcycle market is saturated. While there are several different types of bikes to appeal to various riders and tastes, they’re not exactly unique — at least, not unless you add a third wheel.

Think about it: While it would take both your hands and another friend’s to count all the two-wheeled motorcycle manufacturers out there, it would only take one to count those who produce three-wheelers. In addition, each of those OEMs designs a very distinct type of three-wheeler with no two looking at all alike, whether that’s due to the placement of the wheels (are two of them in the front or the back?) or the design of the vehicle itself (does it look like a car, an ATV or a motorcycle?).

The same can be said for Rewaco, a German-based manufacturer that has been designing and building innovative trikes since 1990. In an already niche market, Rewaco luxury trikes set themselves apart not only in looks — using an elongated chassis with a chopper-like appearance in the front and its “bagger” business in the back — but in German-engineered technology.

“Our trikes are unlike anything else available in the market,” says Webb Benninghoven, corporate director of dealer development, sales and market for Rewaco. “People driving by the dealership will stop to see them and new riders are attracted to the stability and comfort.”

Rewaco trikes feature a Turbocharged 1.5-liter Mitsubishi engine, which pumps out 140 horsepower and gets them a top speed of 110 mph. This powerful engine includes a seven-speed CVT fully automatic transmission with independent rear suspension. In addition, the trikes’ unique design offers incredible aerodynamics; a wide stance with a low center of gravity, thanks to its mid-engine; and oversized wheels and tires. The bucket seats come with full back support for the rider and the passenger, giving a 360-degree view. A wide variety of options are available that offer wind protection, audio systems, 25 color choices, and two or three-seater models.

In addition, Rewaco trikes offer the perfect opportunity to give mobility back to the physically handicapped. With their framing and stability, disabled persons are more easily able to maneuver into the seat and ride the trikes. In addition, Rewaco offers customized options for individual solutions to varying degrees of physical disability and will work with customers to convert the vehicles to fit their specific handicaps.

Become an Exclusive, Destination Dealership

Having modernized the trike for over 30 years and made successful sales in Europe, Rewaco has now brought the trikes to the U.S. and is on a mission to import and distribute these vehicles to all 50 states. Given America’s bias towards touring, these trikes present the perfect blend of accessibility, comfort, convenience and style that many tourers are looking for.

That said, while Rewaco is intent on growing in the U.S., its goal is not to become the next Honda or Harley-Davidson. By producing only a few hundred machines a year, Rewaco concentrates not only on providing an exclusive, luxury product that can provide a surprising increase in your profit margins. Prices for Rewaco trikes average in the $40,000 range, meaning that earning up to a 16% margin from selling one trike would take the equivalent of selling several cheaper bikes from the mainstream OEMs.

“We have dealers that have been able to transform their stores from surviving to thriving with our unique vehicles. Adding Rewaco trikes to any dealer’s offerings will attract new customers and create excitement at the store,” Benninghoven adds.

Since Rewaco intends to remain exclusive, that means dealers who sign on get to lock in their territories, limiting competition and becoming the go-to destinations for Rewaco trikes in their areas. Of course, having the product alone isn’t enough, and you need to be able to dangle your hook in front of customers. Rewaco Trikes USA is committed to providing its dealers with the resources and assistance they need to thrive in today’s competitive market by giving them access to a comprehensive suite of marketing tools and resources designed to help attract and retain customers.

“As a dealer, I personally witnessed how excited customers would get when seeing the Rewaco trikes for the first time. And the profitability they brought to our store really improved our bottom line. When the opportunity to work with Rewaco presented itself to me, it felt like the perfect place for me to help other dealers make a difference in their businesses,” Benninghoven concludes.

If you’re ready to get more customers in the door, let Rewaco Trikes do the greeting for you. Visit www.rewacousa.com to check out the lineup and to become a Rewaco dealer today.

7 Traits to Look for When It’s Time for a Battery Upgrade https://www.motorcyclepowersportsnews.com/seven-traits-to-look-for-when-its-time-for-a-battery-upgrade/ Tue, 11 Jun 2024 12:51:22 +0000 https://www.motorcyclepowersportsnews.com/?p=201821 When it’s time to purchase a battery for your vehicle, make sure you consider more than just price.

The post 7 Traits to Look for When It’s Time for a Battery Upgrade appeared first on Motorcycle & Powersports News.

]]>
Extreme Temperature Tolerance

For excursions with exposure to intemperate weather, such as the severe cold encountered on snowmobiles or the scorching heat on an All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) during a hot summer day, it’s wise to invest in a powersports battery that can tolerate extreme temperatures that come along with the territory.

Massive Starting Power

A battery built with a higher CCA can create more starting amperage and therefore deliver more power for massive results.

Fast Recharge Efficiency

A battery capable of fast recharge can minimize downtime and get your vehicle back up and running in no time.

Longer Storage Life

If storing your vehicle on the off-season is a must, a battery engineered to provide a significantly long life-shelf (up to 1 or 2 years) can help save customers time and money due to an unneeded replacement.

Deep-Cycle Reserve

Today’s technologically advanced powersports vehicles are equipped with onboard accessories to enhance the end-user experience including lighting, winches, communications systems, Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and mobile device chargers. A battery with deep-cycle reserve capacity can help start the engine and provide the power needed to keep all onboard electronics running properly.

Vibration Resistant

Whether combating the rough terrain of dirt, sand and mud in your ATV or confronting a strong wave in your Personal Watercraft (PWC), a non-spillable, durable design with extreme vibration resistance can help cushion harsh blows due to the environment.

Minimal Maintenance

Having to do regular maintenance and upkeep checks on your powersports battery can become a tedious chore. Innovations to battery design, including Absorbed Glass Mat and Thin Plate Pure Lead (TPPL) technology, can significantly minimize maintenance requirements often seen with traditional flooded lead acid batteries.

Selecting Your Next Powersport Battery

No Two Battery Chemistries Are the Same

There are a variety of different battery chemistries on the market today for your powersports vehicle and each one has its own unique characteristics. Let’s explore the different chemistries available to energize your powersports application to see which battery is right for you.

Flooded Lead Acid Batteries

Conventional flooded lead acid batteries are usually the least expensive option available but have many downfalls for this type of vehicle application. For starters, flooded lead acid batteries generally have a higher rate of self-discharge. Extremes in temperature can also dramatically affect the battery’s performance. Physical maintenance and human intervention are mandatory for proper operation, such as cleaning away corrosion after extended use. This type of battery is not the most robust, with cases and covers not built to withstand the severe shock and vibration dished out during an exhilarating ride. If the battery case cracks, acid could leak from the battery. Excessive vibration can damage the battery’s internal components.

Absorbed Glass Mat Batteries

Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) batteries are engineered to withstand extreme temperatures, making them an excellent option for seasonal powersports vehicles such as a snowmobile or PWC. They feature rugged construction, they’re non-spillable and are shock and vibration resistant. However, not all AGM batteries are the same. It’s wise to choose an AGM battery with an appropriate Cold Cranking Amperage (CCA) to give you adequate power to start your engine.

Thin Plate Pure Lead Technology

Thin Plate Pure Lead (TPPL) technology takes the benefits of AGM batteries a step further with pure lead electrode plates that can be made thinner than standard AGM engineering so that more plates will fit than in a comparably sized conventional lead acid battery. The additional plates provide as much as 15 percent greater surface area, increasing the electrochemical reactions with the electrolyte. The result is significantly higher cranking power.

Lithium-ion Batteries

Lithium-ion batteries tend to have a higher upfront cost than alternative chemistries and are not necessarily temperature tolerant. They’re compact, lightweight and recharge easily but require very specific charging algorithms. The battery’s small size and durable construction make it easy to install and maintain.

When it’s time to purchase a battery for your vehicle, make sure you consider more than just price. Go with a battery that’s fully capable to take on all the challenges powersports applications can dish out as well as all the fun!

Emerging Off-Road Technology https://www.motorcyclepowersportsnews.com/emerging-off-road-technology/ Mon, 10 Jul 2023 14:09:51 +0000 https://www.motorcyclepowersportsnews.com/?p=198279 From user-experience assets to electric drivetrains.

The post Emerging Off-Road Technology appeared first on Motorcycle & Powersports News.

]]>
In recent years, with advancements in the auto industry working their way down to powersports, technology has been enhancing the off-road experience for everyday users. For instance, the desire for accurate and reliable navigation systems specifically designed for off-road use as well as touchscreen interactive systems similar to what you might have in an everyday driver have become increasingly popular.

To that end, the off-road community’s constant pursuit of innovation and improvement has recently driven the development of new and exciting technologies tailored for its specific needs and preferences, such as GPS, security alerts, Bluetooth connectivity and real-time data transmission between vehicles and apps. In fact, riders are demanding not just data collection and analysis from these apps anymore but also custom performance features. Take the Segway Smart Moving App, for example, where riders can adjust their electronic power steering settings between three different modes: Comfort, Standard and Sport.

Soon, other features from the automotive industry are likely to make their way down into ATVs and UTVs as well. Gabriel Cruz, marketing director of Segway Powersports, hints, “There have been some rumblings about a reverse camera coming stock on some of our future product. We will have to wait and find out together.”

However, according to Mark Zhu, president of Segway Technology Inc., the main focus for his company over the next few years will be on a new power system, including new energy technologies, such as hybrid power and pure electric power. At the same time, Segway still plans to focus on augmenting the user-interactive experience with improved technology integration in its off-road vehicles.

“We have been working to enhance and develop an electric drivetrain that will cater to the specific needs of the off-road market. We have been working through performance testing and are considering commercial development,” Zhu reveals.

Zhu believes that under the conditions of existing technology, pure electric drivetrains will bring a different user experience, albeit in a limited area. However, due to the weight of the batteries, the availability (or lack thereof) of outdoor charging as well as range anxiety, the usability for electric ATVs and UTVs may be limited.

“There are certain niche markets and user scenarios in which we believe a pure electric drivetrain vehicle will thrive. Therefore, Segway is also doing pure electric technology research and has completed the performance testing of UTVs,” Zhu states, noting that these drivetrains will also be a power supplement for ATVs.

Designing an electric ATV/UTV isn’t just a matter of swapping out an engine for an electric drivetrain. Since most of an internal combustion engine is positioned either in front of or behind the cab/seat, whereas electric drivetrains are situated primarily underneath the vehicle, this change in design not only affects the weight and balance of the vehicle but also brings up concerns about mitigating damage to the underside of a vehicle when off-roading.

“It is necessary to ensure continuous power output without adding too much weight to the vehicle, which will affect the overall driving control,” Zhu explains. “At the same time, off-road conditions and scenarios must be taken into consideration, such us complex climate environments and terrain instability.”

So for now, Segway, at least, is focusing on releasing a hybrid vehicle before announcing a fully electric one — but the wait won’t be long.

“We are excited to continue to push the boundaries. As a company, we have our eyes set on introducing the first-ever hybrid vehicle to the off-road market,” Cruz says. “Initially, Segway entered the powersports space by announcing a hybrid, but just like the Segway name, we hold ourselves to a high standard, and we want to ensure every product we introduce to the market has been thoroughly tested. With that being said, the wait is just about over. We are excited for what is to come in just the near future.”

Segway expects to showcase a full production model of its enhanced hybrid powertrain off-road vehicle at the Milan Motorcycle Show (EICMA) later this year, but mass production could take up to another year to ensure for quality.

These technologies are just some examples of what lies on the horizon for off-road vehicles. But given the automotive roadmap we have, the future looks bright for more to come.

Selling Standard SxS Accessories https://www.motorcyclepowersportsnews.com/selling-standard-sxs-accessories/ Thu, 18 May 2023 13:10:52 +0000 https://www.motorcyclepowersportsnews.com/?p=197689 Purchasing is an emotional experience. Use that to your advantage.

]]>
With warm weather pushing its way into the U.S., outdoor season has arrived. Whether it’s farming, hunting or just blazing along a trail in the outdoors, side-by-side (SxS) riders are going to increasingly call upon their vehicles to get them where they need to go. Now is the time to make sure customers have the accessories they need to outfit their side-by-sides for their circumstances.

But what are the most popular accessories for these vehicles?

“Historically, popular items will fluctuate by season and region,” says Shane Wilson, vice president of Segway Powersports. “Areas that get a lot of snow will utilize accessories for their specific applications, like snowplows, cab enclosures and heaters. Front windshields and rear windscreens are pretty common across the board; spare tire carries are popular for the adventurist consumer where there are a lot of trail systems, and we see the heavy-duty front rack and bumpers being utilized in rural areas and during hunting season.”

With that in mind, let us look at some of the most universal upgrades/accessories and figure out how to play on the customer psyche to get the sale.

Standard Accessories

Traditionally, when customers first purchase their side-by-sides, they will invest in some primary accessories, such as roofs, winches or doors. However, with certain brands and models, these come standard. Take the Segway Utility and Sport models, for instance: the roof, winch, doors and access to the Smart Commanding System app come standard at the MSRP price.

For these types of vehicles that already have so many bells and whistles attached, it can be difficult to capitalize on accessories when the traditional ones are already taken. But here is where you have to leverage customers’ desires for comfort, technology and safety.

Comfort

Humans do not like extreme temperatures. That is why full cab systems in side-by-sides are so popular. One of the key accessories to outfitting a full cab system is a windshield. Generally, front and rear options are available in both full and quarter versions. There are also lift kits available to pop windshields up if customers want to feel the breeze one day and keep the elements — rain, dust and wind — out. For utility customers, windshields are necessary for those days when the weather doesn’t cooperate but they still have to work.

Technology

Because of modern cars and the Internet of Things, riders are used to having all of their devices connected and having information at their fingertips anytime, anywhere. Premium models of many SxS, such as the Segway Utility and Sport Models, also come equipped with an infotainment touchscreen, which is a huge selling point. By upgrading customers to higher trim levels with these infotainment screens, they can have a hands-off experience in terms of navigation, phone calls and playing music. No more juggling that phone or buying a phone holder!

Safety

If you’ve bumped into a tree with your riding lawn mower and cracked the guard or even bumper-tapped someone with your car and walked away with nothing more than a scratch at most, you know how relieving it is to have something protect the front of your machine so that you don’t damage it — especially if it’s a sporty vehicle you’d like to keep in pristine condition. As such, heavy-duty front and rear bumpers are another prime accessory to sell — especially to those customers who take their vehicles into wooded or rocky areas or even just use and abuse them at work.

Sometimes, you also have to illustrate the importance of accessories customers cannot see — such as skid plates. If a customer is planning to take an SxS out in the mountains, for example, a skid plate will be crucial to make sure stray rocks, logs or other debris do not tear up the undercarriage. Impress on them what sort of disaster they could face if their vehicles get damaged in the middle of the wilderness.

In the end, another tactic you can use to sell SxS accessories is to utilize customers’ familiarity with driving cars. Cars come standard with everything — roofs, windshields, mirrors, and bumpers — that SxS OEMs and dealers sell as an upgrade. Have customers take a test drive in an SxS with none of the options … and then have them drive around in a fully outfitted model. When they feel the difference and realize how much more comfortable they will be with a roof protecting them from the sun, a windshield blocking the breeze and mirrors to check on their surroundings, it will resonate.

Segway recently released its full catalog of accessories and items, which are now available to order. For more information on Segway Powersports, visit www.segwaypowersports.us.

As the dust settles from the frenzy of pandemic foot traffic in dealership showrooms, the question that has been looming over everyone in the industry is: What comes next? Are sales going to drop to pre-pandemic levels? Will we retain the new riders that came in the last few years? Is there a way to keep the momentum going?

The answer to all those questions is: It depends. It depends on whether or not you dealership can pivot from the pandemic mindset and once more embrace crafting a customer experience that not only draws in but retains consumers.

Luckily, as far as sales are concerned, 2022 reports have been strong, and that trend indicates that while demand may not reach pandemic levels again, profits can continue to rise. For instance, Ducati recently announced that it surpassed €1 billion in revenue for the first time. Off-road companies like Segway also saw great profits in 2022, and 2023 is so far trending strong.

“2022 was a great year for us,” states Gabriel Cruz, marketing director for Segway Powersports. “As we continue to develop a great network of dealers and introduce new Segway products into the powersports landscape, the market acceptance has been phenomenal. We started the year [2023] off strong and saw a 31% increase in retail sales from January to February, and we anticipate those numbers to increase.”

What is likely also helping sales is that fact that the majority of supply chain issues appears to have been solved, with a healthy flow of product circulating the industry, according to Cruz. Yet now that supply is standing on more equal footing with demand, dealers are going to have to change the way they have interacted with customers in the last few years. Whereas during the pandemic, it was the customer driving the transaction — taking whatever vehicle was on hand, even if it wasn’t the one he or she wanted — now, the salesperson has to get back in the driver’s seat and focus on customer service for the sake of retention.

“The importance of quality customer interactions and customer experience are at an all-time high. More than anything, I think we are witnessing the economic shift that is leaving dealerships with pandemic levels of inventory with pre-pandemic foot traffic,” Cruz states. “Dealers have a healthy supply of inventory on hand. It is going to be important to take advantage of any and all foot traffic that comes through the dealership. It is important to develop relationships with OEMs like Segway Powersports that will work with you to ensure you have the appropriate model mix and inventory levels on the dealership floor.”

Salespeople have to learn about their customers, what they’re looking for and try to match them up with the best products. That’s going to take effort and research on the salesperson’s part. No longer is standing back and raking in the commissions going to fly. Know what features are available not just on your models but on other brands’ as well. While experienced riders may be brand loyal, many new riders are going to be shopping around for the right price and fit — especially if they didn’t get quite what they wanted during the pandemic.

And if it seems overwhelming, ask your OEM partners for help.

“It is always important to ensure the dealership staff is well-versed on the product that is on the showroom floor. Capitalizing on and taking advantage of any educational content is a must. Segway Powersports has a team of reps that are extremely well-versed on the industry and the Segway product, and we are here to assist our dealers!” Cruz proclaims.

Whether the industry keeps sailing ahead or founders on the rocks is up to whether your dealership can navigate the waters of today’s customer journey. That journey often begins online and always ends in-store. But creating a seamless experience that allows them to get all the information they need is up to you. Are you ready for the task?

Marketing UTV Accessories During the Holidays https://www.motorcyclepowersportsnews.com/marketing-utv-accessories-during-the-holidays/ Tue, 13 Dec 2022 13:00:00 +0000 https://www.motorcyclepowersportsnews.com/?p=195680 Some accessories are universal must-haves, and some have special potential during the cold season.

The post Marketing UTV Accessories During the Holidays appeared first on Motorcycle & Powersports News.

Consumers hardly ever leave their larger purchases in stock form. Whether it be a cell phone or a fancy outfit, there’s often a phone case or some shiny jewelry tacked on later. That’s because humans like to accessorize — why not make a great purchase even better?

Accessories usually build on a product’s utility, giving it more features or improving the features it already has. They can be an investment or simply an attractive improvement. Either way, customers are always looking to upgrade what they already have, and the powersports industry is no different.

Standard UTV Accessories

UTVs are ripe for accessorizing, as “utility” is literally in the name. The sheer number of different activities that can be completed in the vehicles, whether work or play, lends a hand to various upgrades, attachments and enhancements that can be added after a purchase. But what accessories are the most sought after by UTV owners?

The basics come first: a roof, windshield, mirrors and winch are all add-ons that customers opt to purchase from the get-go. These are usually present in marketing materials for most UTV models but are often missing from stock original equipment manufacturer (OEM) vehicles unless purchased in an accessory package. These basic accessories come standard on some manufacturers’ models, such as HISUN’s, at the time of purchase, allowing customers to explore more personalized items to fit their needs.

And as we near the holiday season, customers will no doubt be wondering what accessories to buy themselves, their friends and families to upgrade their UTV game. But how and what should dealers be marketing to their customers?

Marketing Cold-Weather Accessories

One of the best ways to catch the attention of a potential buyer is to pre-install the items on the show floor. Advertisements and visual aides are always a good idea, but being able to see the product you are buying up-close-and-personal is unmatched.

Phil Chapman, parts and accessories director for HISUN Motors, says, “When the customers come in, they’ll know that you’ve chosen the best items for the season and have had them installed properly. It makes the decision-making process for them much easier if you present a whole solution in a clean and well thought out package.”

Extra storage options are always an essential for UTV owners, as there’s always more cargo to carry. “A unit big enough to carry the family or crew should be able to carry their camping/fishing/hunting gear or work tools also,” Chapman notes. “A well-designed box or rack system that properly fits the unit can go a long way to making sure that no items are left behind or that the game makes it back to camp.”

Light bars are also a must-have for many owners. Aside from adding to the aesthetic of the vehicle, they provide much needed visibility and safety to owners who choose to ride on cool summer nights after the sun has fallen or during the short days of winter. Adding a little light can provide a few extra hours of work or thrills before it’s time to turn off the engine for the day.

Speaking of cold weather, what accessories are most marketable during the winter months? HISUN, for instance, has soft enclosures for their two- and four- seat UTVs, along with cab heaters and plows ranging from 50 inches to 72 inches to meet different needs. UTVs aren’t necessarily the most insulated vehicles, so a cab heater and enclosure can go a long way in providing a warm and comfortable ride during the colder months.

Ultimately, accessorizing a UTV comes down to personalization. Customers with unique and customized vehicles are more attached to them, offering more utility while breaching the gap between machine and rider. Accessory sales promote increased revenue and customer retention, which is a win-win for dealers across the board.

Getting the next generation of riders started.

For families with a history of riding powersports, it may not seem like a big deal to introduce their children to youth vehicles when the time is right. But from an outside perspective, it might be hard to visualize a world where children and the powersports industry coincide together. Powersports are often seen as being dangerous and unpredictable — a quality that parents shy away from with their children. Just as skateboarding was blacklisted by parents decades ago (and still is today) for being too unsafe for younger kids, powersports are also an area of worry.

However, the pandemic pushed families outdoors, and as adults learned the joys of riding, they soon found their children wanted to join in. Now in 2022, the entry point for younger riders is wider than ever. Youth racing is trending, and more and more children are looking to get behind the wheel of a powersport vehicle. That begs the question: How do you market youth powersports vehicles to the parents that would ultimately buy them?

Ease of Entry

Powersports riding is safer today than it ever has been, and it’s no different for youth. Part of the reason is the apparel, which has continually grown more advanced throughout the years in terms of protective material and easy-access features. The other reason is that powersports vehicles have begun to be marketed specifically towards youth. UTVs and ATVs in particular are seeing great interest from this younger age group.

Four-wheeled vehicles are much easier to handle than two-wheeled offerings and provide more protection in the event of a mishap. In fact, some manufacturers have been producing youth side-by-sides (SxS) for years now, including HISUN, which began focusing on the youth category in 2006. As such, HISUN has experience building vehicles to best fit the needs of this segment.

Jacob Vaughan, marketing director of HISUN Motors, says, “Building a platform for families to begin that journey is exciting for HISUN. Riding ATVs and UTVs is a family activity that continues to grow, and they’re a great way to introduce youth to powersports.”

HISUN’s youth SxS offerings are prime candidates for family fun. “We build them to be approachable and easy to learn or be taught by parents,” Vaughan notes. “They are perfect for entry-level riding and eventually can help to bridge into racing.”

It’s also important to note that youth units are generally priced significantly lower than adult models, which means parents can let their children follow their passions without breaking the bank. For instance, priced at only $5,599 MSRP, HISUN’s Strike 250R allows for inexpensive thrills and fun.

Not Just a Toy

Youth powersports vehicles do not have to be stripped-down versions of their larger counterparts. More often than not, these side-by-sides perform very similarly.

HISUN’s Strike 250R, for example, is powered by a four-stroke, single cylinder, overhead camshaft engine with an automatic CVT transmission and independent dual a-arm suspension. The SxS also comes standard with a roof, windshield, half doors, aluminum wheels and a 2,500-pound synthetic rope winch.

A top speed of 30 mph means that youth drivers can get up to speed on the track and be competitive without reaching dangerous levels. The Strike 250R has a quick yet predictable throttle response, which allows for the same feeling riders will get on larger UTVs but at speeds that youth can handle.

And of course, as with any powersports vehicle, once those young riders outgrow their youth models, parents can trade them in for the next level up. All in all, youth powersports are here to stay. Not only is marketing to this group allowing for accessible family fun, but it also opens up the world of powersports to new riders and encourages the next generation of powersports enthusiasts to hit the track!

Each of the models is powered by a 1,000cc four-stroke, parallel-twin cylinder, dual overhead camshaft (DOHC) engine capable of 105 horsepower. The engine utilizes electronic fuel injection, is liquid cooled and pairs with an automatic transmission for either two- or four-wheel drive capability.

With double A-arm suspension with up to 16 inches of wheel travel in the front and a multi-link trailing arm suspension with up to 18-inches of travel in the rear and up to 15 inches of ground clearance, the Villain was engineered with extreme terrain conditions in mind.
