LIQUI MOLY has over 65 years of lubrication experience with automobiles. The traditional Ulm-based company has been transferring this knowledge to all two-wheelers for some time now — both with and without engines. The “BIKE” care series not only comes in a new look but also offers reliability for all types of bicycles with product innovations.
It is estimated that around one billion bicycles are in use worldwide. Whether e-bike, gravel bike, city bike, BMX, classic racing bike or mountain bike: They should all give pleasure for as long as possible. And this is precisely where the 10 BIKE products from LIQUI MOLY now come into play.
“Reliable helpers that ensure that every bicycle functions perfectly and retains its value. Just like our motor oils, additives and care products,” said LIQUI MOLY Managing Director Günter Hiermaier.
Now they look even better: The new design is much more appealing and modern and extends throughout the entire product group. The redesign was already applied a few months ago for the BIKE Detailer quick paintwork care and the newly designed BIKE Ceramic Chain Spray and was very well received by end consumers. With this product, the name says it all: The ceramic, high-performance additives provide excellent protection against friction and wear for particularly stressed chains and cassettes of bicycles and e-bikes. The special lubricant demonstrates its excellent creep properties immediately after spraying — whatever the weather conditions. Thanks to its enormous adhesion, spin-off is reduced to a minimum. The Ceramic Chain Spray protects metallic components excellently against corrosion and does not attack plastics, paints and metals. The flip-up spray head enables precise and easily dispensable application.
“It is no coincidence that, for example, Oliver Widmann (incumbent German mountain bike champion and multiple vice and junior world champion in the “Trials” discipline) relies on our products,” added Managing Director Günter Hiermaier. The cooperation with MAGURA, a leading manufacturer of bicycle components, which has been in place since 2017, also underlines this quality standard. In addition, the internationally renowned professional mountain biker Eliott Lapotre from France also relies on LIQUI MOLY BIKE products. “Perfect cleaning, care and lubrication of bicycles is now part of our DNA. The bicycle industry is developing very quickly and positively. The need for our expertise is constantly increasing. That’s why we will continue to work on optimizing this product line in the future.”
Examples of this are the Wet Lube and Dry Lube. Both chain oils will soon be available on the market with an even better formula. In addition, the booklet languages will be expanded on all products to provide even more information at a glance, also internationally.
