On Project X so far, we’ve rebuilt the top end, we’ve done suspension work, we’ve installed a winch, new heated hand grips, a new seat cover, and a ton of other great stuff. Now we take a look at the wheel bearings.
On an ATV of this age, the wheel bearings have a tendency to wear out because they’re in the mud, the muck and the slop quite often. Even though they’re sealed, there’s no way of keeping everything out. Josh shows you the proper way to replace the wheel bearing on a Sportsman 800, and adds wheel spacers for a more aggressive stance.
