• The fully adjustable, inverted fork holds radially mounted four-piston brake calipers that grasp dual brake rotors mounted to a 19-inch cast-aluminum front wheel as the 17-inch rear wheel rides in an aluminum swingarm controlled by a link-style shock absorber with a hand-operated, hydraulic spring preload adjuster.
  • There is a wide selection of Suzuki Genuine Accessories so you can add heated hand grips, aluminum panniers or plastic side and top cases, fog lamps or other items so you can master each adventure.

2025 V-STROM 1050DE

The 2025 Suzuki V-STROM 1050DE takes the trusted sport adventure touring platform and adds rugged, off-road-ready enhancements to conquer diverse terrain. At its core is the reliable 1037cc V-twin engine, now paired with a chassis designed for off-road exploration. With increased ground clearance, 21-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke-style wheels wrapped in Dunlop Adventure tires and long-travel suspension, the 1050DE is equipped to explore gravel roads and dirt trails.

Enhanced by the S.I.R.S., the 1050DE offers advanced features like traction control with a Gravel Mode for loose surfaces, the ability to deactivate rear ABS and a 5-inch color TFT display to manage settings on the go. Rugged design elements, including an off-road unique front fender, aluminum engine protector and accessory bar, emphasize its all-terrain focus. For riders who demand off-road capability alongside on-road comfort, the V-STROM 1050DE stands as the definitive choice.

Key V-STROM 1050DE Features

  • Coated with a dynamic Glass Sparkle Black/Metallic Matte Black No. 2 paint combination with silver and red accents, the V-STROM 1050DE’s ADV-themed styling retains Suzuki’s original rally-beak look, paying homage to past Suzuki Dakar Rally bikes and the DR-Big large-displacement DualSport.
  • The long-travel, fully adjustable, inverted fork holds radially mounted four-piston brake calipers that grasp dual brake rotors mounted to a 21-inch spoke-style front wheel carrying a Dunlop TRAILMAX MIXTOUR Adventure tire.
  • Ready to go off-pavement, the S.I.R.S. includes a unique Gravel mode in the Suzuki traction control system that provides controlled rear wheel spin on unpaved roads. The DE also has the option to switch off the rear ABS.
  • Ready for mounting auxiliary lights or reducing damage in a tip-over, a sturdy accessory bar is mounted to the V-STROM 1050DE.
  • Especially designed for off-pavement use, an engine protector constructed of three-millimeter (0.12-inch) aluminum plate shields the front and bottom of the frame, exhaust header and engine from trail debris.
  • The V-STROM 1050DE receives a unique, smaller windscreen designed to maximize visibility when riding on dirt trails and on gravel roads. Over three inches (80 millimeters) shorter and slightly narrower than the V-STROM 1050 windscreen, it has been developed to reduce wind buffeting to the rider’s helmet.
  • The V-STROM 1050DE has a 1.57-inch wider (40 millimeters overall, 20 millimeters per side) tapered aluminum handlebar. Cast in thicker tubing from a softer grade of aluminum than the V-STROM 1050 handlebar, this construction allows more flex when riding on unpaved surfaces and better shock absorption for greater comfort. In addition, the wider grip position provides enhanced comfort particularly when standing on the foot pegs to negotiate rough terrain.
  • Because of the suspension changes, front wheel diameter and chassis geometry, the V-STROM 1050DE ground clearance is one inch more than the V-STROM 1050. This helps the motorcycle ride over uneven terrain without touching the bottom of the frame to the ground.
    • Ground clearance V-STROM 1050DE: 7.5 inches (190 millimeters)
    • Ground clearance V-STROM 1050: 6.5 inches (165 millimeters)

2025 KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE GT https://www.motorcyclepowersportsnews.com/2025-ktm-1390-super-duke-gt/ Thu, 07 Nov 2024 15:00:00 +0000 https://www.motorcyclepowersportsnews.com/?p=203741 The enhanced 2025 KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE GT goes the distance with beast-like aggression.

The post 2025 KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE GT appeared first on Motorcycle & Powersports News.

]]>
In receiving its boldest transformation yet, the 2025 KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE GT takes another significant leap forward and accelerates further ahead of the chasing pack. THE LONG DISTANCE BEAST just got even more radical, fulfilling its design brief to meet incredible dynamism and taking the Sports Tourer category to exceptional new heights.

Already the most extreme bike in its segment, it has adrenaline rush at its core, boasting class-leading technology, superior handling and an engine package that is even more powerful and torquey than ever before. It’s a refined package that delivers more muscle and aggression than its predecessors.

Now boasting a displacement of 1350 cc and sharing the same latest LC8 V-twin engine of the 2024 KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R EVO, the upgrades further optimize performance and take the new generation to new heights. A centrally positioned ram air intake, a redesigned air box and a wider radiator are just a few of the enhancements that boost both power and efficiency, taking its capabilities to the next level.

Riders will be able to take full advantage of revised gearing that makes fifth and sixth gears far more effective, resulting in better use of the rpm range – they’re no longer considered to be overdrive gears at moderate speeds, which makes for a more “ready to race” motorcycle. The goal was clear: to create an exceptionally fast road bike with serious track ambitions, delivering peak performance in every scenario.

The Kiska design team has gone to work on every single angle, developing superior, more compact ergonomics that enable riders to spend long hours in the saddle, while also maintaining the opportunity to unleash its improved performance on track. An all-new signature LED headlight and simplified brake light with integrated turn signals add to the bike’s bold styling, complete with a lower profile that emphasizes its most up to date chassis.

In terms of handling, the 2025 KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE GT receives the latest-generation chassis from THE BEAST, the 2024 KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R EVO. This chassis provides increased torsional stiffness and a lower center of gravity, offering optimal front tire feedback for superior control. Stability, combined with agile, sporty handling, has been further refined through the addition of the latest generation WP APEX Semi Active Technology suspension components at both the front and rear. Also improved is the heavily revised Comfort Mode for those longer days in the saddle – this was a major focus in the development phase and one that riders will feel the biggest difference from the previous generation model. This setup improves sensitivity, responsiveness and offers greater customization options, delivering a more dynamic and adaptable riding experience.

With the boost in performance, you’ll need equally strong stopping power, which is achieved by the proven Brembo systems. Up front, it features a set of four-piston Stylema monoblock calipers gripping 320-millimeter floating discs, while the rear is equipped with a Brembo twin-piston floating caliper and a 240-millimeter disc for precise, controlled braking. A new multi-click-system front brake lever enables increased adjustability, while Cornering ABS, Supermoto ABS, as well as the new Supermoto+ and Sport ABS modes provide riders with multiple options to control THE LONG DISTANCE BEAST.

Fitted with lightweight Michelin Power 6 tires, featuring dual compound technology, straight line/cornering grip has been enhanced. Additionally, a new Tire Pressure Monitor System with improved functionality allows riders to set a custom pressure for track riding.

A state-of-the-art electronics package has been developed and incorporated, offering class leading rider aids and a new Ride Mode concept. Its revolutionary 8.8-inch TFT (H88) touchscreen dashboard cannot be ignored, benefiting from a simplified menu structure, the CCU3.0 also ensures seamless reconnection with your smartphone on every ignition cycle. Functionality is at a premium including Offline Map Navigation, with relevant safety features integrated and all able to be operated at the press of a button on the all-new handlebar switch cubes.

That high-tech experience extends to the Ride Modes, which are completely reworked and made up of Rain, Street, Sport as well as an all-new Custom mode as standard, in addition to optional two Custom configurations and an optional Track Mode that adds to its personalization capabilities. Keeping the tech experience at an all-time high is the addition of a Front Radar which adds a host of features such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Brake Assist, Distance Assist and Group Riding. Demo Mode is also available for the first 1,500 kilometers that permits customers to sample all the available tech in order to make an informed decision which tech pack best suits their needs.

With a major step forward for improved street riding character that doesn’t compromise its capabilities on the track, the opportunities are endless aboard the 2025 KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE GT. It’s more of a BEAST than ever before and is prepared to go the distance – are you?

A full selection of KTM PowerParts and KTM PowerWear have also been developed for the 2025 KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE GT riders, providing first-class personalization options, purposely crafted to elevate performance and protection, no matter how far or fast your journey will be.

Indian Motorcycle has unveiled its latest Elite model – a showstopping Roadmaster combining high-end sophistication, upscale fit-and-finish, and world-class touring capabilities. Indian Motorcycle designed the 2024 Roadmaster Elite to deliver an authentic, custom-inspired paint scheme for riders looking to turn heads and stand out from the crowd.

In 1904 Indian Motorcycle first debuted the brand’s iconic Indian Motorcycle Red paint scheme. Today, the brand is excited to honor its iconic color with an all-new Indian Motorcycle Red tri-tone paint scheme with a premium candy finish, which delivers a vibrant and eye-catching look. To achieve this, Indian Motorcycle partnered with two of the industry’s most renowned custom paint shops, Gunslinger Custom Paint (GCP) in Colorado and Custom Painted Vehicles (CPV) out of Wisconsin. Indian Motorcycle’s partnership with GCP and CPV provide an extra layer of authenticity, as the two paint shops are widely sought after for one-off, custom-bike paint designs from riders all around the country.

“Our Elite models take the incredibly high bar we set for all of our products and raise it even higher, offering something more exclusive for the rider who wants to make sure their bike is a cut above anything else on the road,” said Aaron Jax, vice president for Indian Motorcycle. “What I love about the new Roadmaster Elite is how we’ve taken the historic Indian Motorcycle Red and given it a tougher, meaner attitude with blacked-out styling.”

“Our design team is always thrilled to work on the Elite models, because we’re essentially given the keys to design our very own custom bike, but instead of just one, hundreds will be available around the world,” said Ola Stenegard, director of product design for Indian Motorcycle. “With each new Elite model, we pull through custom bike trends to create something that’s not only current and relevant, but authentically aligns with the Indian Motorcycle brand and complements each model’s inherent DNA.”

With only 350 available worldwide and incredible custom-inspired styling, the 2024 Roadmaster Elite is the ultimate in style and exclusivity. Each Roadmaster Elite features exclusive Elite badging, including an individually numbered center console complete with a silhouette of a 1904 Indian Camelback — Indian Motorcycle’s first model to debut the iconic Indian Motorcycle Red paint.

Premium features add to the Roadmaster Elite’s impressive touring capabilities, delivering an Elite-level of personalization and comfort. These Elite features include the following:

  • Tri-tone Candy paint: Indian Motorcycle Red Candy, Dark Indian Motorcycle Red Candy and Black Candy provide a premium paint scheme that pulls inspiration from both past and present custom bikes. Complete with hand painted Championship Gold pinstripes and finished by two of the industry’s top custom paint shops, GCP and CPV, each bike takes over 24 hours to complete.
  • Elite branding and graphics: Exclusive badging only worthy of an Elite model, riders will stand out from the crowd with premium fit and finish.
  • PowerBand Audio with Bass Boost and UnderGlow: Introduced in fall 2023, Indian Motorcycle’s PowerBand Audio with Bass Boost delivers 50% louder audio through 12 speakers located in the front fairing, saddlebags and touring trunk with even more bass when compared to stock sound systems. Each speaker’s UnderGlow delivers a stand-out touch of custom-inspired styling.
  • Pathfinder Adaptive LED Headlight: The Indian Motorcycle Adaptive LED Headlight provides even more illumination when compared to stock headlights. Patented, cutting-edge technology improves the rider’s visibility by monitoring the bike’s lean angle to optimize illumination of the road ahead.
  • Gloss Black dash: It’s all in the details, as the Roadmaster Elite features a fully gloss black painted dash —delivering a clean fit and finish riders expect and appreciate with their Elite models.
  • Pathfinder auxiliary LED saddlebag lights: Perfectly integrated into the bike’s saddlebags, the added lights deliver custom style while significantly improving visibility of the rider for other motorists.
  • Polished driver and passenger headdress floorboards: These spacious floorboards not only provide comfort for long touring rides but also deliver an extra level of detail and style.
  • Color-matched stitched heated and cooled seat: The Roadmaster Elite’s color-matched stitched seat adds exclusive styling to a high-performing, comfortable touring seat. Whether riding mid-summer or late fall, the heating and cooling features on the Roadmaster Elite seat greatly improves rider and passenger comfort.
  • Tinted flare windshield: Tinted to match its blacked-out menacing style, the flare windshield provides advanced wind protection when compared to stock windshields. Featuring a low-profile, it’s electronically adjustable to provide the best wind protection for riders of all heights.
  • Black passenger arm rests: Passenger armrests provide premium comfort for passengers, ideal for long touring rides.
  • Backlit switch cubes: The Roadmaster Elite’s backlit switch cubes make it easier to see and select the bike’s hand controls at night — a premium feature for a premium, Elite touring machine.
  • 10-spoke Precision Machined wheels: The 10-spoke Precision Machined wheels introduce a new machine pattern on the Roadmaster Elite. Sophisticated, while still packing tons of attitude.

Harley-Davidson revealed four new 2024 motorcycle models, ushering in a new era of touring performance, technology and design. The all-new Street Glide and Road Glide models, featuring the new Milwaukee-Eight 117, are more powerful, comfortable and lighter, and they are packed with advanced technology, including a new infotainment system — all wrapped up in a dramatic new visual design. Commemorating the 25th anniversary of Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO), the new CVO Road Glide ST model takes hot rod bagger performance to the next level with racing-inspired, high-performance suspension and brakes, as well as a potent new Milwaukee-Eight 121 HO engine and low final drive ratio that combine to produce the kind of acceleration and mid-range thrust aggressive riders crave. The new CVO Pan America debuts as the first CVO offering in the adventure touring segment, ready to take on anything with a host of standard equipment all wrapped up in exclusive custom paint and finishes.

Each of these 2024 models are scheduled to reach authorized Harley-Davidson dealerships in January 2024.

“These exciting new models represent a new era for Harley-Davidson, elevating every aspect of performance, technology, comfort and style,” said Jochen Zeitz, chairman, president and CEO of Harley-Davidson. “Without question, these are the most enticing touring motorcycles ever offered by Harley-Davidson.”

New 2024 Street Glide and Road Glide Models

The 2024 Street Glide and Road Glide models are more powerful, lighter and more dynamic, and they feature all-new visual design elements that combine a cohesive dynamic flow from the front fenders to the saddlebags. Both models feature an evolved fairing profile that appears refreshingly modern yet retains Harley-Davidson design DNA that makes them instantly familiar. Additional key features include:

  • An updated Milwaukee-Eight 117 V-twin engine features a new cooling system that further optimizes thermal comfort for the rider and enhanced intake and exhaust flow to boost performance.
  • Selectable Ride Modes — Road, Sport, Rain and Custom — electronically control the performance characteristics of the motorcycle.
  • Infotainment technology is powered by Skyline OS and presented on a 12.3-inch TFT color touchscreen that replaces all analog instrumentation and most switches. A new 200-watt audio amplifier powers a pair of fairing-mounted speakers.
  • Improved aerodynamics enhance rider comfort and reduce subjective helmet buffeting at highway speed by an average of 60%. Rear suspension travel is increased to 3 inches. A redesigned one-piece seat shape and padding materials offer a significant improvement in long-range comfort for most riders.

New CVO Road Glide ST Model Leads 2024 CVO Lineup

The CVO Road Glide ST is the quickest, fastest and most-sophisticated performance bagger ever produced by Harley-Davidson, and it represents a unique collection of components providing high value to performance minded riders. A deep solo seat and 6-inch riser paired with a moto handlebar put the rider in an aggressive, upright position with West Coast custom style. Key features include:

  • Two premium paint choices: Golden White Pearl or Raven Metallic. A Screamin’ Eagle graphic on the fairing sides and fuel tank is inspired by the Screamin’ Eagle Harley-Davidson Factory motorcycles raced in the MotoAmerica Mission King of the Baggers series. CVO 25th Anniversary graphics celebrate a milestone in factory customization.
  • The Milwaukee-Eight 121 High Output V-twin engine is exclusive to the CVO Road Glide ST model, tuned to produce 127 horsepower (94 kilowatts) and 145 pound-feet (193 newton meters) of torque — the most horsepower and torque ever from a factory-installed engine in a production Harley-Davidson motorcycle. A lower final drive ratio is selected to enhance acceleration performance in every gear.
  • The use of alternate materials helps reduce dry weight to 800 pounds (363 kilograms). Mufflers have lightweight titanium shells and forged carbon fiber end caps; forged carbon fiber composite is used to form the front fender, seat cowl and tank console; the oil pan is formed of lightweight composite; and wheel design and wave-style front brake rotors are optimized to minimize unsprung weight.
  • Fully adjustable front and rear suspension includes SHOWA rear shock absorbers with remote reservoirs and inverted 47-millimeter SHOWA 1×1 forks.
  • Premium Brembo braking components provide outstanding braking feel and performance for added rider confidence.
  • Selectable Ride Modes — Road, Sport, Track, Track Plus, Rain and multiple Custom modes — electronically control the performance characteristics of the motorcycle.
  • A suite of infotainment technology is powered by Skyline OS. A color touchscreen replaces all analog instrumentation and most switches. A premium audio system features a 500-watt amplifier and Harley-Davidson Audio powered by Rockford Fosgate Stage II 6.5-inch fairing speakers.
CVO Pan Am
Harley-Davidson CVO Pan America

The CVO Pan America motorcycle is a new vehicle of discovery and the CVO program’s first adventure touring (ADV) motorcycle. All of the features that have made the Pan America 1250 Special model a leading choice among discerning global adventure touring riders are retained, including the smooth-and-powerful Revolution Max 1250 engine, semi-active front and rear suspension, touchscreen display, selectable ride modes and Daymaker Adaptive Headlamp technology. The CVO Pan America model is outfitted with a host of rugged accessories selected to enhance the journey, including Adaptive Ride Height suspension, rugged aluminum top and side cases, a Screamin’ Eagle quickshifter, tubeless laced wheels, auxiliary LED forward lighting and an aluminum skid plate, providing excellent value to the adventure rider who wants it all and more.

In 2023, the CVO Street Glide and CVO Road Glide models introduced a bold new design direction for the Harley-Davidson Grand American Touring platform, the extraordinary performance of the Milwaukee-Eight VVT 121 powertrain and advanced suspension, and infotainment technology powered by the exclusive Skyline OS. Both models reprise all of those features for 2024 with exciting new color options.

New Moto Guzzi V85 Range https://www.motorcyclepowersportsnews.com/new-moto-guzzi-v85-range/ Fri, 10 Nov 2023 13:57:24 +0000 https://www.motorcyclepowersportsnews.com/?p=199667 The iconic Moto Guzzi travel enduro undergoes a thorough revamp and debuts in three new variants, each boasting a distinct, bold personality.

The post New Moto Guzzi V85 Range appeared first on Motorcycle & Powersports News.

]]>
The Moto Guzzi V85 TT was conceived through a skillful blend of highly evocative design and cutting-edge technical solutions. It was 2019, and right from the offset, the new Moto Guzzi revolutionized an increasingly homologated market, creating a new segment, positioning itself as the first iconic adventure bike and balancing stylistic references to the golden age of motorbike adventure with the content and functionality of a modern travel enduro.

Practical, essential and lightweight, the V85 TT is made to thrill even before you get in the saddle, catering for those who want a motorbike that rekindles the spirit of adventure even on everyday rides.

It has a winning formula proven by its great success with the public and critics, refined over the years, such as after the debut in 2020 of the Travel version with the developments introduced in 2021 for the Euro 5 version and the birth of the exclusive Guardia d’Onore limited edition. For 2024, the Moto Guzzi V85 has been totally revamped with a new range made up of three models, each one with a unique character: The Moto Guzzi V85 Strada, Moto Guzzi V85 TT and Moto Guzzi V85 TT Travel, thus offering a unique range of options for all motorcyclists eager to hit the road, regardless of their destination.

Timeless Style With a Fresh New Twist

The iconic and instantly recognizable styling of the Moto Guzzi V85 evolves, this time with a more contemporary interpretation while refining numerous details that maintain the authentic charm of the initial model with its essential shapes defined by the lines of the tank; side panels and front mudguard; and, of course, by the sculpted, 90-degree V-twin engine.

The front is, as always, characterized by the double circular headlamp, which includes the LED light cluster with the daytime running lights (DRL) outlining the silhouette of the Moto Guzzi eagle. The headlamp and instrument panel supports are now molded in die-cast aluminum in place of the steel tube trellis of the previous generation, giving the top fairing a more sporting and dynamic presence. Continuing the stylistic theme from the front, the newly introduced rear grab handle (offered as an accessory for the V85 Strada) is also made of aluminum. This refined choice contributes to improved passenger comfort and ergonomics.

The fuel tank is one of the defining elements of the V85 lineup, with its sculpted shapes appearing even more robust and dynamic. The recesses just above the engine cylinders seem to be a natural extension of the twin-cylinder engine. The latter features new cylinder head covers, the design of which emphasizes the technical upgrades of the unit.

The Moto Guzzi V-Twin Delivers Increased Power and Torque, Courtesy of Variable Valve Timing

All models in the new Moto Guzzi V85 range are powered by the unmistakable air-cooled, 90-degree, transverse V-twin engine with two-valve per cylinder rocker and rod timing system — the pride and tradition of the Eagle of Mandello.

An 853cc engine, following the construction scheme of all contemporary Moto Guzzi engines, was initially introduced in the first version of the V85 TT with elements of excellence, including the timing system with roller tappets and aluminum rocker arms, along with 42.5-millimeter intake valves made of titanium.

On the new Moto Guzzi V85 range, the engine complies with the new Euro 5+ emissions regulations and has undergone significant work to increase power and improve throttle response (and therefore torque figures) at low revs. This was achieved thanks to the adoption of variable valve timing, a technical solution that optimizes valve lift laws depending on engine speeds. The increase in torque becomes noticeable as early as 3,000 rpm and extends across the entire torque curve. By 3,500 rpm, 90% of the maximum torque, equivalent to 83 newton meters at 5,100 rpm, is available. This further enhances road riding pleasure and improves throttle response, offering greater flexibility in low revs and high gears. Furthermore, the maximum power sees an increase, leaping from 76 horsepower at 7,500 rpm in the previous generation to 80 horsepower at 7,750 rpm.

Another improvement involves the incorporation of knock sensors, which supply essential data to the engine management electronic control unit (ECU), enabling more precise and accurate adjustment of ignition timing. This results in a range of benefits: higher performance combined with improved riding comfort and reliability.

The engine’s other fundamental characteristics remain unchanged. Lubrication involves a semi dry sump with two coaxial pumps: one tasked with oil delivery and the other with recovery that ensure excellent lubrication and do away with the need for an oil radiator, thus reducing the overall weight. The semi-dry sump solution has all the advantages of dry sump engines without the disadvantage of the encumbrance of the external oil reservoir, since the sump itself carries out this function. The primary advantages are less loss of power because of friction due to the interaction of the crank drive with the oil, lower maximum temperature reached by the oil and freedom of the bike to reach a greater lean or pitch angle without any lubrication problems, thereby allowing the reduction of the quantity of lubricant needed to ensure that the pump has correct draft in any situation. The oil sump is reduced in size to increase ground clearance and allow for assembly of the protective aluminum under-sump.

Injection makes use of a single 52-millimeter throttle body, while multimap Ride-by-Wire throttle control, a solution that allows for precise throttle valve opening control, not only optimizes overall efficiency for a smooth, rich delivery, but also decreases fuel consumption. In fact, the Moto Guzzi engine on the V85 TT is extremely frugal in terms of consumption: It has few power-absorbing components (rod distribution and rocker is one of the most frugal in terms of power absorption), and has no cooling circuit pump or long drive chains or belts.

Outstanding Aerodynamic Protection

One of the areas that Moto Guzzi technicians have focused on extensively is aerodynamic protection. This involved meticulous refinement efforts, including wind tunnel studies and numerous hours of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation.

Above the front headlamp, embellished with a new frame with a satin finish, is a new windscreen with a revised shape, manually adjustable in height to five positions, offering a total range of 70 millimeters. This results in a marked improvement in air protection in all conditions (the reduction in air pressure on the rider is 37% compared to the previous generation) and increased riding comfort, all while preserving the bike’s sleek aesthetics.

The reduction in air pressure on the rider has also been achieved by working on the now wider and more protective handguards. Furthermore, the addition of a newly patented cover at the front of the tank, precisely aligned with the ignition lock, which effectively diminishes the airflow towards the rider’s chest and chin.

New Instrument Panel With 5-Inch TFT Display

Sitting on the motorcycle, the rider benefits from a completely redesigned instrument panel: The new, larger, 5-inch TFT color display allows better visualization of all trip parameters. The handlebar switches are also new, having also undergone an overhaul, with both electric switch-cubes redesigned to provide more straightforward and intuitive access to all functions, including cruise control.

The Technological Equipment: The V85 is Even Easier, More Comfortable and Safer

The Moto Guzzi V85’s frame, constructed from high-strength tubular steel, leverages the unique engine mounting points to form a sturdy framework. This framework not only enhances precision and stability on the road but also provides durability and a confident feel when riding off-road. The chassis layout is remarkably rational and efficient, and it has been further improved to enhance comfort and safety.

On the V85 TT and V85 TT Travel models, the rear monoshock now features spring preload adjustability via a convenient handwheel. This allows for swift adjustments to the bike’s setup when riding with a passenger or carrying luggage. The suspension provides ample wheel travel of 170 millimeters both at the front and rear, ensuring a satisfying off-road experience. This is further aided by the generous 210-millimeter ground clearance.

The electronic equipment is also expanded, featuring the incorporation of a six-axis inertial platform (available as an accessory on the V85 Strada). This advanced system, equipped with accelerometers and gyroscopes, can detect the bike’s orientation relative to the road; it records and processes the input derived from the ride and sends the data to the ECU. This makes the management of the electronic controls even finer and more precise, enabling the functionality of the Cornering ABS (anti-lock brakes), which can modulate braking power according to the lean angle, improving safety. The ABS system operates in conjunction with an advanced braking setup. This setup comprises a double steel-made front disc, with a 320-millimeter diameter, paired with newly designed Brembo radial-mount monobloc calipers featuring four opposed pistons connected to the handlebar master cylinder via braided metal hoses. At the rear is a two-piston floating caliper with a 260-millimeter-diameter steel disc.

The calibration of all electronic parameters — MGCT traction control, ABS and Ride-by-Wire throttle response — can be easily managed via the riding modes. The riding modes Road, Sport and Rain are standard on all models of the range. Additionally, there’s a specialized Off-Road mode designed exclusively for the V85 TT and V85 TT Travel versions, designed to emphasize their off-road capabilities. This mode features the lowest level of traction control intervention, ABS active only on the front wheel with dedicated calibration (and the possibility of deactivating it on the front wheel as well), together with a smoother throttle response, assisted by greater engine braking. The V85 TT Travel also features the Riding Mode Custom (accessory on the V85 Strada and V85 TT), which allows full customization of electronic control levels and even the creation of an additional personalized mode via a dedicated menu.

All models in the V85 range are also equipped with cruise control, capable of maintaining the set speed without acting on the accelerator. This system is also designed to be extremely intuitive, with a single button to activate it and to increase or decrease the set speed.

Moto Guzzi V85 Strada

Moto Guzzi V85 Strada

The Moto Guzzi V85 Strada embraces the core values of the V85, including lightness, practicality and simplicity, and it takes them to new heights. This makes it the perfect “practical machine,” excelling at daily city rides and excursions on both urban roads and out of town.

Agile and comfortable thanks to its upright riding position, the V85 Strada is characterized by a minimalist, elegant and distinctive styling, leaving the rear end slim and streamlined without grab handles and abandoning the skid plate and handguards typical of enduro bikes. However, these components are available as accessories, giving riders the option to customize the V85 Strada according to their preferences.

The equipment also features new aluminum alloy spoked wheels, enhancing lightness and agility, and these are paired with road-treaded tires. This has a positive effect on handling, with the Moto Guzzi V85 Strada weighing in at 4 kilograms less than the V85 TT version.

The road-oriented design is further emphasized by the low mudguard on the front wheel and the stylish Nero Isola and Grigio Brera colors.

Moto Guzzi V85 TT

Moto Guzzi V85 TT

Moto Guzzi V85 TT is the “all-terrain” that embodies the original spirit of the V85, with a highly evocative appearance and styling that harks back to the atmospheres of the 1980s and the enduro bikes on which you could do everything, from everyday transport to adventurous travel.

Moto Guzzi V85 TT keeps the adventure going even when the asphalt comes to an end. It’s equipped with spoked wheels that accommodate tubeless sculpted tires of 17 inches and 19 inches (150/70-17 and 110/80-19 respectively), sizes that will satisfy even off-road enthusiasts. Additionally, the engine is shielded by a new aluminum skid plate, and the hand grips feature improved, more protective hand guards.

The Moto Guzzi V85 TT stands out for its red painted frame, combined with the evocative two-tone Rosso Fuji and Grigio Tambora livery. Even the rear shock absorber spring is red and can be easily adjusted for preload using a convenient knob.

Moto Guzzi V85 TT Travel

Moto Guzzi V85 TT Travel

Moto Guzzi V85 boasts the undisputed qualities of a great traveler: consider the 23-liter fuel tank, providing a range of over 400 kilometers on a single fill, or the final cardan shaft transmission (making the V85 the only bike in its displacement class to use it) always favored over the chain by long-distance riders due to its cleanliness and low maintenance requirements.

Moto Guzzi V85 TT Travel is the motorbike that turns every journey into an adventure, adding the perfect equipment to the V85 TT’s already excellent base for limitless travel, all year round, with luggage and passenger.

The V85 TT Travel takes body protection to the next level with state-of-the-art features. It boasts a new Touring windshield with aerodynamic shapes, increased height, and 22% more surface area compared to the standard version. Additionally, new side deflectors further enhance protection, making it ideal for motorway cruising and cold weather riding. As a result, air pressure on rider’s helmet is reduced by extra 50% compared to the V85 TT. Like the standard windshield, the Touring version is also manually height adjustable to five positions.

The equipment includes Urban series side cases, which now feature a new burnished finish, with high capacity (the right one, with 37 liters, can hold a full-face helmet and the left 27.5 liters) and reduced lateral dimensions, which can be unlocked using the same key.

Also standard on the V85 TT Travel are heated grips and a rider’s seat, the temperature of which can be adjusted via controls on left switch-cube. Completing the special equipment is the Moto Guzzi MIA multimedia platform, which allows the smartphone to be connected to the vehicle, extending the functions of the instrumentation. Moto Guzzi MIA combines an infotainment system for managing voice assistant, phone calls and music using intuitive handlebar controls as well as a navigation feature. With this feature, after setting the destination on your smartphone, you can display directions directly on the instrumentation.

Moto Guzzi V85 TT Travel is available in the exclusive color Bronzo Deserto.

The Extensive Range of Accessories Continues to Grow and Be Updated

Moto Guzzi’s comprehensive catalogue of genuine accessories tailored for the V85 has been further enriched with new items, with numerous accessories refined in terms of both style and functionality. All these accessories are fully homologated and subjected to rigorous testing procedures, akin to any original motorcycle component, ensuring their quality and longevity.

The pair of Urban series panniers and top box, made from ABS and aluminum, are now offered in two different finishes: Silver and Dark (Urban Dark cases are standard on the V85 TT Travel). The trio of aluminum panniers has been restyled and expanded in terms of capacity, with the side cases now featuring a more convenient side opening. The catalogue is also enriched with new, more agile lightweight luggage options, such as the thermoformed Tank Bag, with a convenient quick-release fastening on the filler cap, and the soft Roll Bag with sporty styling made of waterproof material.

For the V85 Strada version, handguards, aluminum skid plate and grab bars are available as accessories, while the low front mudguard is available as an accessory for the V85 TT and V85 TT Travel.

On the technology front, the IMU inertial platform, which enables the Cornering ABS functionality (standard on the V85 TT and V85 TT Travel) and the Custom riding mode (standard on the V85 TT Travel) are offered as accessories.

Also new is the Touring windshield, standard on the V85 TT Travel.
