Dainese and MotoGP rider Marco Bezzecchi of the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing team have collaborated on the Custom Works project. This project showcases a personalized Dainese Custom Works suit, designed by Bezzecchi and New York designer Dan Connor. The suit features track-inspired silver chrome and black lines, animal-print details and the VR46 and Dainese New York logos, along with neon red and Dainese red details.
The design is based on the Dainese Demone GP suit, featuring titanium sliders, an exclusive boot-in system for the Dainese Axial boot and the Dainese D-air airbag system. Bezzecchi will test the suit on the track in Misano at the end of August.
The suit will be auctioned on eBay from September 10-15, with all proceeds going to Associazione Riminese Oncoematologia Pediatrica (AROP). Bezzecchi has been collaborating with AROP, which supports young cancer patients and their families.
Bezzecchi said, “I’ve chosen to support AROP because I firmly believe in their mission. They do extraordinary work in improving the quality of life for young cancer patients and their families. The Demone GP Custom Works suit that I made for Dainese is a one-of-a-kind item, and it’s a way to involve my fans in something bigger than our sport as well and raise awareness among as many people as possible about supporting a cause that is so important to me.”
The auction winner will also receive an exclusive experience at the Misano Grand Prix on September 20-22, including a visit to the pits, lunch at the team’s hospitality facilities and the Demone GP suit presented by Bezzecchi.
