Turn 14 Distribution Adds Several Companies to the Line Card

Turn 14 added RK Chain, Hinson Clutch, Athena and Maxima Racing Oils to its offerings.

RK Chain

Turn 14 Distribution announced the addition of motorcycle chain manufacturer RK Chain to its line card.

“We are excited to begin offering RK Chain to our customers. As a world leader in motorcycle chains, the company’s dedication to constant progression and innovation makes this a partnership we see being prosperous for both companies,” said Tom Miller, divisional purchasing manager, Turn 14 Distribution.

RK Chain is a globally recognized leader in the manufacturing of motorcycle chains. Renowned for its innovation, reliability and performance, the company’s products are engineered to meet the rigorous demands of professional racers and everyday riders, ensuring superior durability. With a history dating back over 60 years in Japan, RK Chain is trusted by some of the top riders in MotoGP, Endurance and Motocross. The company has developed a diverse line-up of products to suit the needs of any riding situation.

Each RK Chain part is made to precise tolerances and specifications, with each product being certified according to stringent ISO9001 guidelines. The company’s many developments in surface treatments and coatings add to its distinguished placement as a global leader in the powersports market.

Hinson Clutch

Turn 14 Distribution has partnered with renowned powersports clutch manufacturer Hinson Clutch.

“Hinson Clutch has become a well-known brand in the powersports market thanks to its continued pushing of the envelope since its inception. The company’s forward-thinking approach and dedication to producing high-quality products make Hinson Clutch a perfect brand to provide to our customers,” said Miller.

Hinson Clutch was established in 1992 by Wayne Hinson. After spending time as the tuner for ATV Grand National Champion Gary Denton, making custom parts not yet available in the aftermarket, Hinson determined it was time to make those same custom parts for the general public. The company’s first product was the Hinson Clutch Basket, an innovation designed by Hinson using more robust aluminum and hard coating to alleviate the breakage of weak factory clutch baskets. With this product, Hinson Clutch established an even greater name for itself, becoming a supplier of clutch baskets for multiple factory-backed teams.

This has culminated in over 400 national and world championships won using Hinson Clutch parts and valuable data to aid future product development.

Today, with Hinson’s two sons at the helm, Hinson Clutch continues to provide innovative and quality products to powersports consumers. The company manufactures its parts using high-quality materials with extremely tight tolerances. Hinson Clutch products are made in the U.S.

Athena

Turn 14 Distribution has added Athena to its line card, widening its selection of powersport parts.

“Athena is an esteemed Italian company specializing in the production of gaskets, cylinder kits and sealing solutions tailored for powersport, automotive and marine markets. Renowned for their high quality, precision engineering and wide range of applications, Athena products have earned the trust of enthusiasts worldwide, making them a top choice for spare parts,” said Wayne Howard, divisional purchasing manager, Turn 14 Distribution.

Established in 1973, Athena has become a premier manufacturer specializing in designing and producing top-tier components for the powersport industry. With a global footprint, Athena serves customers worldwide, enhancing the reliability and efficiency of vehicles across various sectors. This international success has solidified Athena as a top choice for high-quality parts in the motorcycle spare parts market.

Maxima Racing Oils

Turn 14 Distribution secured Maxima Racing Oils for its expanding portfolio of powersports-centric brands and products.

“Maxima Racing Oils has quickly become Turn 14 Distribution’s most requested brand by our powersports sales team. With an eye for innovation and a constant striving for improvement, Maxima Racing Oils will prove to be a valuable partner,” said Miller.

Established in 1979 in Southern California, Maxima Racing Oils set out to develop engine oils, suspension fluids, coolants and other powersports accessories for use by champion racers and casual enthusiasts alike. The company’s decades of involvement in racing have allowed it to formulate products that can withstand high-stress situations and continue to perform.

Maxima Racing Oils provides various powersports-oriented products, from engine oils to specially formulated aerosols. Its SC1 high gloss coating, affectionately named “New Bike in a Can” by its users, is one of the company’s most popular and innovative offerings, revitalizing the factory shine on plastic, vinyl, rubber and carbon fiber. With the ever- increasing complexity of modern vehicles, Maxima Racing Oils has also begun offering combo kits, making it easy for consumers to ensure they properly maintain their vehicles.
