Rabaconda Lift Kit for Dirt Bike Tire Changer

rabaconda-lift-kit

The Lift Kit is built for anyone who would be appreciative of a higher working height for the Dirt Bike Tire Changer. The Lift Kit raises the height of the Dirt Bike Tire Changer by eight inches, making the working height of the changer 28 inches, and consists of three legs that attach to the base of the Dirt Bike Tire Changer without the use of tools.

The Lift Kit legs when attached increase the overall leg length of the unit and, as a result, provide added stability. Each leg within the kit is made of a durable galvanized steel, incorporates rubber feet for excellent grip on any surface and the entire kit can, of course, fit into the Dirt Bike Tire Changer carry bag.

Despite their incredible strength, the pegs come in at an ultra-lightweight 350 grams per pair, reducing overall bike weight for a competitive edge. The laser-cut teeth provide a confident grip to a rider’s boot, and the open structure ensures that mud and debris easily clear from the peg.

The magnesium-colored cleats look great on any motocross bike, and ProTaper’s five part numbers for the peg ensure confident fitment to all popular motocross motorcycle brands.

The post 2025 KTM SX-F FACTORY EDITIONS appeared first on Motorcycle & Powersports News.

]]>
The 2025 KTM 450 SX-F and KTM 250 SX-F FACTORY EDITIONS are set to roll into start gates and will soon be leaving track rivals in their roost. The latest versions of KTM’s primed READY TO RACE machinery are the only pure competition-focused high-end options for riders who want — and need — to go that extra mile and at extra pace.

In trusted KTM FACTORY EDITION style, the 2025 models boast the full Red Bull KTM Factory Racing trim in dedication to the three notable riders that will front the team and company’s push in 2025 AMA Supercross and Motocross series: Chase Sexton, Aaron Plessinger, Tom Vialle and Julien Beaumer.

The 2025 line-up carries the latest race look and graphics for the new season and with choices between #4 (Sexton), #7 (Plessinger) or #1 (Vialle) for the KTM 450 SX-F and KTM 250 SX-F FACTORY EDITIONS respectively. These bikes are the closest riders and fans can come to the pros, courtesy of a host of performance and practical KTM upgrades; the only separators will be the talent, fitness and the hands on the throttles.

Both 2025 KTM FACTORY EDITIONS are based on the technical platform that has won world championships, a 250SX title, grand prix, main events and banked a host of podium trophies with a wide range of different athletes and riding styles. The 2025 creations will be the last KTM FACTORY EDITIONS of this current SX-F generation.

The KTM FACTORY EDITIONS feature light, compact and advanced single-cylinder mass-centralized engines. Cylinder, cylinder head, piston and crankshaft development ensure resistant, smooth, torquey and reliable power output with longer service intervals. The motor package for both models include an Akrapovič slip-on muffler, fully refined EMS and a 44-millimeter Keihin throttle body as well as Pankl Racing five-speed gearboxes with quickshifter.

The robot-wielded steel frames adhere to precise parameters of longitudinal and torsional flex for exceptional rider feedback, energy absorption, cornering confidence and straight-line stability for acceleration and braking. The structure is light and orientated around the anti-squat concept for a distinctive and effective handling sensation, thanks also to the light aluminum subframe. The chassis benefits from the latest spec, fully adjustable WP XACT suspension (48-millimeter AER split air forks and 300-millimeter dual compression control tool-free rear shock with higher ground clearance for the linkage). The chassis hoists the 7.2-liter (1.9-gallon) tank and also supports the carefully crafted rider triangle for ergonomics, permitting close control and grip of the bike in any condition and for a wide array of obstacles.

Edge the competition with other features such as tool-less air filter access and maintenance marks for rapid servicing, engine mapping (plus traction control and launch control), a Connectivity Unit Offroad (to enable swift and easy engine personalization through the KTMConnect App), larger surface area footrests and premium components like Brembo clutch and brakes, DID wheels, Neken handlebar technology, Dunlop GeoMax MX34 tires and more.

2025 KTM SX-F FACTORY EDITIONS Key Highlights

Dust Moto Unveils All-Electric Dirt Bike: Hightail https://www.motorcyclepowersportsnews.com/dust-moto-unveils-all-electric-dirt-bike-hightail/ Tue, 03 Dec 2024 14:01:00 +0000 https://www.motorcyclepowersportsnews.com/?p=203864 A fully refundable $100 deposit reserves the ride that redefines approachable performance on two wheels.

The post Dust Moto Unveils All-Electric Dirt Bike: Hightail appeared first on Motorcycle & Powersports News.

]]>
Dust Moto has introduced the all-electric Hightail — punching above its weight class with 42 horsepower and 660 newton-meters of torque in a svelte sub-100-kilogram package. The dirt bike delivers a radically simplified user experience, compact chassis, swappable 4.4-kilowatt-hour battery pack and whisper-quiet drivetrain delivering peak riding enjoyment for more riders across more terrains.

“Teaching people to ride an electric dirt bike is easier; they pick it up more quickly, and without the noise, a lot more riding opportunities become available,” said Colin Godby, founder and CEO of Dust Moto. “But the benefits of electric aren’t only for new riders. Suddenly, backyard tracks, urban areas and natural sites with noise restrictions become accessible to riders that weren’t available with gas-powered bikes. The unrivaled agility and lack of maintenance means more time spent with a smile plastered across your face. We’re not trying to reinvent the wheel here — just amplify the experience for more people via the benefits of electric.”

Hightail — Designed and Built for Fun

Founded in 2023, Dust Moto has developed the Hightail in partnership with Bloom, a Detroit-based manufacturing platform focused on electric vehicles. The collaboration is intended to bring Dust Moto’s vision to fruition within the U.S., supporting domestic craftsmanship and production. The partnership gives Dust unprecedented access to new capacities for domestic manufacturing, assembly, delivery and servicing in Michigan, cementing Dust Moto’s commitment to be designed and built in America.

The Hightail delivers features designed for performance and longevity equipped with a swappable 4.4-kilowatt-hour battery, 42 horsepower and 660 newton-meters of torque, offering riders up to two hours of continuous riding, or approximately 35 miles ridden hard on a single charge. The bike’s light weight ( under 100 kilograms) and compact design (2-inch shorter wheelbase/less seat height than an average 250cc bike) increases maneuverability, creating a unique power to weight ratio that’s nimble, responsive and has been described as “telepathic” to rider inputs. With a 55-decibel quiet (about the volume of a typical conversation voice) custom electric drivetrain, more riding locations become possible while the bike’s maintenance schedule is radically simplified. Overall, Dust Moto envisions a riding experience that is far more immersive with the rider’s surroundings, enabling a stronger connection with the bike and other riders, aiming to create the ultimate fun machine.

Pricing and Availability

In keeping with the company’s commitment to transparency, Dust Moto has taken an unconventional “build in public” approach, allowing backers and followers to view the design and engineering process firsthand. This model has cultivated a community of passionate riders who are engaged not only in the end product but in the development journey itself.

The Hightail (known previously as Model_1) is priced at $10,950 USD and is now available for pre-order in the U.S. with a $100 refundable deposit, with initial deliveries set for late 2025. For more information on the Hightail and Dust Moto’s mission to introduce sustainable options to the power sports industry, visit dustmoto.com.

Triumph Motorcycles has announced the TF 250-X with updated fuel maps and graphics for model year 2025.

The TF 250-X set a new benchmark for performance with its ultra-lightweight aluminum chassis and high-performance powertrain, offering a thrilling ride for professionals and enthusiasts alike. Building on Triumph’s racing success in 2024, the new TF 250-X incorporates updated engine control unit (ECU) maps that delivers a more consistent fuel and power delivery through the speed load range, whether the motorcycle is hot or cold. The new fuel maps are available to be updated on 2024 TF 250-X models by Triumph Off-Road Dealerships. Additionally, the Triumph MX Tune Pro app continues to allow riders to adjust maps and monitor diagnostics in real-time, adding an elevated level of customizability.

Originally developed entirely by Triumph in close collaboration with racing champions, including Ricky Carmichael and Iván Cervantes, the four-stroke model is a ground-up design first released in 2024. The performance racing powertrain and unique aluminum chassis are ultra-compact and super light, with the best components on the market already fitted out of the crate.

With a focused and aggressive style, the TF 250-X is slim yet bold. It will be instantly recognizable on the track, with its minimal and lightweight presence and distinctive Triumph Racing Yellow and Black graphics scheme updated for model year 2025.

A network of Triumph dealers will offer sales, service, parts and a new dedicated range of apparel. The network will be backed by a mobile-optimized 24/7 online parts supply system, so owners can order for express delivery, straight from the track.

Performance Racing Powertrain and Electronics

The 2025 TF 250-X is powered by a four-stroke engine, optimized for lightweight performance. Featuring a forged aluminum piston, titanium valves and advanced engine coatings, the TF 250-X promises exceptional durability and power delivery. Enhanced by Triumph’s new ECU mapping, riders will experience refined throttle response and power adaptability, making this machine versatile for any track challenge. The optional MX Tune Pro app offers real-time, selectable mapping, allowing riders to fine-tune their experience based on personal preference or track conditions.

Top Tier Specification

The TF 250-X features premium, top-tier componentry throughout, adding up to an unrivaled specification for a production bike in this category. KYB suspension tops the list, with 1.9-inch (48-millimeter) AOS coil forks, forged and machined 7075-T6 aluminum triple clamps, and a three-way piggyback coil rear shock.

The premium Brembo braking system features twin 0.94-inch (24-millimeter) piston floating front calipers, a single 26-millimeter piston floating rear caliper, and Galfer 10.2-inch (260-millimeter) front and 8.7-inch (220-millimeter) rear discs. The DirtStar 7000 Series aluminum rims and machined aluminum hubs are fitted with Pirelli Scorpion MX32 mid-soft tires. Finally, Pro-Taper ACF carbon core bars and ODI half-waffle lock on grips complete the set up.

Unmatched Handling and Control

The TF 250-X’s exclusive aluminum spine frame balances strength, agility and flexibility. Paired with KYB suspension, including 1.9-inch (48-millimeter) AOS coil forks and a three-way piggyback coil rear shock, this model provides exceptional handling and stability across rough terrains. A high-end Brembo braking system, Pirelli Scorpion MX32 tires and Pro-Taper carbon core handlebars complete a setup that promises premium performance. The total weight of the bike sees the new TF 250-X set a new benchmark for the best “power-to-weight” ratio in the category. It also delivers a high level of tunability to suit different riders and styles.

Competition Accessories

In addition to the high level of specification already included as standard, Triumph has worked with premium brands to create a dedicated range of competition accessories to further enhance performance and capability.

These accessories include:

 • Akrapovič full titanium exhaust system
 • XTRig hole shot device

Setting the pace early on, Johnny Girroir took his 2025 KTM 350 XC-F to the sharp end of the 2024 Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) timing sheets, cementing it as the one to beat with a dominating performance allowing him to clinch the XC1 championship title with two rounds to spare.

The 2025 KTM 350 XC-F FACTORY EDITION takes its most important updates directly from FMF KTM Factory Racing GNCC efforts, making it an even more formidable race-bred machine.

Charging into the holeshot of the cross-country racing circuit, the 2025 KTM 350 XC-F FACTORY EDITION builds on the newly refreshed 2025 KTM 350 XC-F by adding a layer of factory racing upgrades.

Starting with the chassis, the KTM 350 XC-F FACTORY EDITION brings the latest version of KTM’s off-road frame concept to the mix, sharing enhancements found on the 2025 KTM motocross range.

New engine mounts, improved chassis flex characteristics, less weight and rock-solid stability merge with the championship-winning WP XACT Closed Cartridge spring forks and WP XACT linkage shock. Noticeably improved cornering behavior is found, which is ideal for faster special stages.

Getting that power to the ground comes courtesy of all-new DUNLOP GEOMAX AT82 tires, which bring Progressive Cornering Block Technology (PCBT) and bi-directional tread to the forefront. This means the tires do an active part in increased damping and bump absorption due to the new profile and construction while reducing knob deformation for better handling, performance and durability.

The 2025 XC-F range also saw the introduction of the Connectivity Unit Offroad (CUO), which is fitted as standard on the KTM 350 XC-F FACTORY EDITION.

The CUO offers a wide range of functionalities and adjustability options via the KTMconnect app. This exists as two parts, namely, the CUO itself, mounted on the right upper fork between the lower and upper triple clamp, and the GPS sensor on the front fender.

An updated swingarm with a machined chain slider for better mud dissipation and an updated rear brake pedal for improved durability and bending resistance are also highlights for the new model year.

As expected on an FMF KTM Factory Racing machine, a state-of-the-art FMF muffler not only delivers class-leading performance at the lowest possible weight, but it also provides a throaty, factory soundtrack, too.

Beta USA has announced an additional 2025 model to its lineup: the 450 RC. The 2025 450 RC is a response to customer demand, and based on the success of the 450 RX motocross model, it shares the same proven and durable platform with additional features added to make the bike a serious off-road race weapon.

The electric start, five-speed engine provides the power delivery perfect for all-around use. Designed for riders who race in the woods on the weekends and hit the moto track during the week, the 450 RC is really a do-all four-stroke model. Equipped with an 18-inch rear wheel, larger fuel tank, handguards, race model tank panels, formed plastic skid plate and an o-ring chain, it is the complete package.

Features

 • Chassis: Chro-moly single-tube frame with aluminum rear subframe
 • Brakes: Nissin master cylinders and calipers with discs measuring 260 millimeters at the front and 240 millimeters at the rear.
 • Battery: Lightweight, high-performance lithium
 • Fork and shock: KYB 48-millimeter closed cartridge front fork with a 50-millimeter KYB rear shock with rising-rate linkage system
 • Electric start
 • 18-inch rear wheel: Specific for off-road use, more off-road tire selection and better performance on the trail
 • Ignition map switch, including traction control: Two positions (Sun or Rain), which adjust the engine power as needed. Traction control provides less rear wheel slip while in first or second gear.
 • Larger fuel tank: Transparent tank with a 2.4-gallon capacity
 • Hand guards: Providing protection from the trees and sticks
 • Clutch: “Easy-pull” diaphragm clutch with three different settings that allow the rider to adjust the lever feel and progression to his or her liking
