OEM Update: Verge TS Pro

In honor of the company’s entry into the U.S., it released a special edition of this electric superbike.

If you haven’t heard about Verge Motorcycles, there might be a reason for that. It’s a fairly new electric motorcycle brand from Finland that has been predominantly selling its bikes directly to customers online. But at the beginning of June, Verge Motorcycles opened its first two stores in the U.S. in Los Angeles and San Jose, California. As part of its entry into the U.S. market, the company released a special edition of its mid-priced model (starting at $29,900), the TS Pro, called the California Edition. We spoke with Pekka Parnanen, chief operating officer for Verge Motorcycles in the U.S., to get more details on this vehicle and if it might ever make its way into dealerships. Check out the video to learn more!

Pirelli DIABLO ROSSO III Tires

The excellent handling of DIABLO ROSSO III tires comes from their race tire DNA and transmits to the motorcyclist a strong feeling of grip and superb feedback on the bike. This is made possible by the combined characteristics of profile and structure that are derived directly from the Superbike competition. Riders feel exemplary grip and safety not only on dry tarmac but also on wet, thanks to the new materials and experience gained by Pirelli in other segments.

The bi-compound rear tire has high percentages of silica that improve grip in all conditions with the added benefit of giving extra mileage. In addition, the tread uses a pattern that is an evolution of the DIABLO Supercorsa DOT race tire but features more tread grooves for better wet handling.
